Job Title: HVAC Lab Technician -1st ShiftLocation : 1050 Dearborn Dr, Columbus, OH 43085Duration: 6-month contract starting M-F, full-time (40 hours); W2Pay : $30.97/hr.Hours: 1st Shift (7:00-3:30pm)Function/Department: Products & Solutions / Thermal ManagementHealth Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)Position Summary: The HVAC Lab Technician is an intermediate level position for testing with sufficient experience to handle most assignments. The Technician will perform routine testing and make adaptations to units exercising a limited degree of judgment. This position will be 1st Shift (7:00-3:30pm)Responsibilities: Set up test facility and instrumentation in response to general instructions.Support and collaborate with engineers in activities to structure and develop system testing capabilities and products.Analyze and improve existing processes & designs, as requiredPlan, set up, instrument, and operate products and test facilities.Ability to troubleshoot and correct issues.Assist in development of solutions or workarounds to resolve defects.Work with the engineering and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to fully understand the low-level functions within application software or products, as applicable.May assist the QA team in understanding/developing low-level functional and system integration tests.Conduct tests, analyze data and make modifications to units being tested within limits of intermediate nature.Requires timely completion of assigned tasks.Participate in 5S improvement programsOther Duties as assignedRequirements: EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License.Brazing, piping, basic wiring skills.208/230/460V 3-phase 60 Hz wiring.Instrumentation and low volt wiring.General mechanical skills and ability to read mechanical drawings for prototype builds.Must have good working knowledge and skills in testing related to temperature, pressure, and electrical property measurement.Good planning, organizational, documentation, and communication skills are required.Good attendanceMS Office experience helpfulMust be team oriented#TM2
